Chapter 1:

Tobi:

He’d become a Martyr; - whether it was with effort or the lack of, there was no escaping the accompanying fury of a stumbling fate; drilled to it’s burning lace shriveled by plummeting ashes which fled from hesitant tips of flames. But, like songs - whom altered into far fetched echoes. He’d been in no hurry to falther. Though, his chances to redeem had been no greater than a stringless guitar at a music festival.

Ashen hair - with a hint of silver, ran across bolded shoulders; blackened tips scurried amongst his ghastly snow fleeing to the tips of crescent tight eyelids that fell across his prominent cool ice gaze. Emitting, a most desired hue of shards of Nivarana blue which heart of stones bested across a sheet of ice. “Alice.” His voice rang in a somewhat rhythmic tune, soothing but its endless desirable pattern continued to circum to mostly questionable motives in his discretion

.“Alice.” He said again - more assertive this time, long sleepless nights , hours lost to endless training and futile battles had been evident in his tone. “ Where is that girl with my ribs ?” his expression carried one of utter dismay and an unsanctified grimace, cleansed nails railed firmly onto a rounded rhinestone table which sharpened a rose red and hellish lavender as it circulated its perimeter.

“ALICE !” He shouted again this time his heavy boot planted firmly on the lion fur carpet that left golden streaks at the hilt of his ghoulish black boots. The base was empty, not a soul in sight - except for Alice and Tobi of course. They’d spend a lot more time together since they struck that one deal. However, it hadn’t been her choice - so in some ways her time was stolen, but with her consent.

“ALI -” just as he’d been in the midst of ending his last breaths with the base of her name, he was quickly interrupted at the ring of a phone. Ascended brows accompanies huffed shoulders, “ A mission ? “ He curiously said as the flaring red phone leapt from side to side causing the table to shake at its base with trembling legs nearly falling part.

Tobi, quickly reached to the phone - and without a second between his choice of action he answered: “ Hello ? - This is I. Interesting, - what ? Where do I find it ? who are you ? - wait a minute, who gave you this number ? Hello, Hello ? “ Tobi sighed, all he’d been left with an obnoxious sound at the end of the tone.

His ocular cool blues - guided themselves towards a printer which seemed to have been producing sheets of files. While slowly, letting the phone down Tobi made his way to the printer his eyes scanned these files, the sudden shift in his expression had been one opposite of pleased. “hmm.” Was all he could say as he’d been left speechless; like a cat without its tongue.

“ Angry Bloom Toxins, - Joe Mercer dead. Old New York, Del Mercer - status unknown, last seen Old New york as well, hm. What the hell do we have here - ? “ Tobi a bit agitated as he flipped through the files. “ Where the hell are the rest of the guys ? “ Tobi scoffed as he turned to the maroon couch which sunk at his weight as he plumped himself amongst the seats - continuing to read the files.

Alice:

A wave of heat busted through Alice’s hair as she pulled the ribs from the grill, her snow white locks hovering around her ears as her daring red eyes looked down at the food. Her eye twitched trying her hardest not to put something in his food that’ll make him hack up a storm but she tossed the idea in the trash. ‘I can’t waste perfectly good hot sauce.’ She pouted as she placed them on a plate. Ever since their fight she’d been very reluctant to doing as he says but she’s at a point where she knows she’s fucked up ….

And plus it gave her something to do. She heard him call her named, she closed her eyes and sighed. Then again she heard it. Still she didn’t budge, his voice creating a sharp pain in her skull. Then when he busted out into yelling was when she grinned. She seasoned the last bit of her food, she was a chef after all so as much as she wished to serve him shitty food she just couldn’t allow herself to do it. The smell of the cooked meat hovered, she almost wanted to take a bite but she shook her head. She tugged on her small pink apron that covered her low cut black tank top, along with a pair of jean shorts and thigh highs hugging her thighs tightly. Her combat boots tapping the floor as she walked to him. She overheard him about to yell again but as she was about to yell back like an angry old married couple she paused before him holding the plate with the steaming hot food.

They had been spending more time together than usual, of course because she has to and it was part of the deal but she still can barely make out the words “Master” to him. It made her cheeks turn into a cherry red blush so she tried her best to keep away from doing anything embarrassing. She tilted her head a bit confused. He picked up the phone as she got closer to him and walked to the printer. She placed the ribs on the table of where he was once sitting and walked beside him now to peek over his tall frame. She tippy toed to look at the paper as well.

“What is it? Who called?” She asked curiously. He walked off and she followed him to the couch she stood in front of him now with her arms folded. “Well..?” She asked with a small agitated smile trying her best to act as if he wasn’t technically her ‘higher up’ at the moment. It really embarrassed her especially when people saw them together they’d raise a brow at how demanding he’d be with her, but it was only what he had earned and all she could do was just take it. She was actually surprised he hadn’t forced a collar onto her or threw her in a cage. Oh how he pissed her off still, but she’d probably kill herself before he’d try to degrade her like that. After all she still believed she herself wouldn’t allow that to happen but she can’t say anything now. Alice stayed placed in front of him with her arms crossed, waiting for an answer.

Tobi:

Tobi turned the page once more. The sounds of sheets bending at his thumb acted as a nail in a haystack to the wisp of sudden whispering winds.” I believe the word you are looking for is - Master. “ he teased without trading glances with the girl, with his  knees bent and narrowed forward Tobi would have risen from his place on the couch, towering over the girl. “We had a deal remember?” His smile slightly curling; Tobi huffed before dragging the face of his right hand through the strands of her snow white hair.

“ Are those ribs I smell ? “ He’d dance at it’s essence - while launching the heavy sheets of paper where he once seated himself. He eased his sights at the girl once more, softly chuckled at the rather curious but appeasing outlook streaming off her face. Tobi, learned to enjoy the company of the girl - however, she was still reluctant in calling him Master. But, that was a trait he found himself correcting really soon. Tobi, arched his head to the side lightly nodding his mind and correlating aspects of thoughts falling to the concern in her rose red hues that seeped of curiosity, she’d been more puzzled than a dog caught in a Labyrinth.

“ You really wanna know what's up, huhj ? - Well shit fine why not. “ Tobi, softly sighed before firmly placing his hands within the comfort of his huffed sweat pockets that rallied up just slightly beneath his tank top, gently leaning against the rounded rhinestoned table. “ You and I have a road trip. Try, not to be too exciting though. We, go to Old New York pick up a plant and we’re out. Just like that.”

The ashened hair warlock explained to her completely disregarding the fact that one Warlock ended up dead while the other missing. “ You don’t have to come with though. “ Tobi added - he’d been in the midst of trading shirts removing his tank top.

His body riddled in scars collected from past battles. He seen it as his very own treasure case - so he took a lot of pride in his molded tone that looked as if it been chiseled by the hands of god himself yet scavenged by the sulks of scratches, scars and cuts. Not, too different from a chest full of gold - despite the appearance, Tobi’s value as warlock remained intact.

Tobi, quickly threw on an armoured vest shoulders briefly stacked against his elbow down to his forearm, shaggy hair ran straight across his face. “ I’ll be back in a jiffy, you worry about keeping the base clean. Or, whatever else you women are good for.” Tobi teased as he’d be in the midst of strapping on a pair of heavy jeans and boots.

Alice:

The small curvy girl stood there holding her front, a sly smile as she watched him. Although it soon broke as soon as he corrected her wording. “Master.” Her face flushed red, and she just pulled on an aggravated smile. “Heh…” She then hummed her tone to a whisper hoping he wouldn’t overhear her. “Over my dead... body…” She whispered under her breath. She turned her head looking up at him, her cat like berry red eyes stared at him as he ran his hand through her hair. She took a deep breath as his hand slid through her soft strands of white that fell atop of her head, standing still. As his hand pulled away she quickly fixed her hair huffing to herself. A soft grin peeled onto her face.

“Mhm, eat with care. It’s hot.” She hummed the word /hot/ with a sultry dragged out tone. Still keeping up with her teasing even though she knew it would only end up in punishment she couldn’t help but feed herself with her teasing and mockery needs. She followed him to his seat as he set himself by her meal. She leaned her plump behind against the table and folded her arms staring straight ahead this time instead of watching him eat. She could feel his cold blue orbs staring at her. “I still do wanna know, yes.” She said softly as she now turned her head to look at him. She raised her brow. ‘Road trip?’ She thought to herself, her lips curled into a sly grin. “You really shouldn’t underestimate everything.” She lectured keeping her grin. He then mentioned that she didn’t have to come and snickered knowing she wasn’t going to pass this chance up.

Alice stared at him allowing him to continue basking in himself, although very attractive looking and bulky he was he didn’t intimidate her. She could fight him over and over again and would still always assume she’d have a chance against him but she was still recovering sadly. She now glanced down at her black nails, checking to see if they needed to be repainted, but of course still perfectly intact somehow even after all the crap she did for Tobi. She kept looking down at her nails as he got ready she then turned to look at him, her eye piercing right into his. She leaned down to tighten her boots and walked to the coat rack to rip off her brown leather jacket pulling it on she walked past him.

“I’m coming.” She turned to look back at him. “I finished all my chores.” Instead of smiling at him her lips stayed straight but her eyes smiled instead. She grabbed a few things and glanced at him. She giggled as she fixed her jacket, her face now completely serious. . “Plus, you don’t even know the half of what were good for...” Clearing her throat a bit. “Master.” She almost hissed but the word came out more sly and seductive.

Tobi:

A Slender coral pink danced against a flared rose red. The slits and slides of his tongue dripped of its aqueous fluid as a chilled gust of wind cascaded from the amniosity that heightened within the glare of his glacier cool blue hues. Using his coral pink tongue and gently allowing it to drift against the rifts of his rose red bottom lips; in a similar fashion to Tony Hawks skateboard at the hinges of a metal framed railing. His lips, It had been deprived of it’s youth, flailing of its shade to one somewhat dimmer as he’d been caught in a lie. He could tell Alice had easily seen through his deception.

Though he hadn’t known her long - he in time learned to care for her and didn’t enjoy seeing her in harm's way. However, it was the job of a Warlock so in ways he couldn’t really do anything about it, he hated the sound of it but this was truly what she signed up for. Besides, knowing her there wasn’t a tongue in this world that would defer him from taking this route as a warlock. He didn’t know her before then - before her hair melted of a ashen tint; no lighter than a sheet of snow cleansed to its tips with the barks of Greenland's ice.

Or, before her eyes flared a sinister red that held the vulgar intensity of the tip of Satan's hottest flames. But, he could assume before all of it, she was a girl with a future. A bright one at at that, probably in cooking. He could imagine her with her own cooking show. “ Alice’s Cooking Book.” it’s messed up how fate works sometimes, he had no future other than becoming a monster-slaying Warlock, leave the job to delinquents such as himself who had no future, but leave those such as his brother, Zane and Alice those with potential to be more than who they are, out of it.

“ I suppose, I can’t stop you huh ? “ Tobi, voice came off soft - he’d given up before attempting to try to talk sense to her, lord knows that’ll be a waste of precious vocab. His tongue watered as the glistening ribs began to stride in his grasp; immersed in a glorious heavenly scent, holding nothing back he could feel his face melt at the first bite. He cried tears of joy, and in the midst of that turning his back to alice as his knees buckled at it’s taste.

It was almost as if his soul left his body and danced amongst a field of cows and sheeps. His eyes glossed and he took another bit, and within seconds the ribs had been nothing but tears and bones. Tobi, slowly slurred his waist and turned back to the feline succubus; his face emotionless as he softly dabbed his cheeks with a shell white napkin.

“ It was alright, a little less salt. But, not bad.” Tobi, picked up a silver bladed katana, his brother never returned his umbrella so he was left with that too his discretion. Tobi, shuffled his feet to the middle of the room, slightly arching his head to where he’d turn to see Alice follow behind him; it was then she finally stated “Master.”

His ears perked up as his icy hues expanded. He softly gulped, and while sweat shuffed through the tint of his brows he quickly turned away from her hiding his expression. His knees buckled again, she’d successfully have them buckle twice within an hour, that was an all new record. Tobi, quickly altering his posture softly nodded his head. “ Ehrm, Atta Girl.” Tobi, scoffed before - a flourishing bloom of colors expanded before the two formulating into a somewhat swirl. It had been a portal; with a magnetic force emitting from it’s center, Tobi’s brows furrowed as his hair danced within its symphony.

“ Ugh, I hate portals. Stay close.” Tobi, commanded in the midst of slowly dragging his legs through the portal - and within seconds he was met with a completely different scenario.” Old New York.” The sun peaked from its strain amongst darkened heavy clouds; they curled at the belts of the oceanic blue skies - which seemed to have dimmed at the arrival of the two warlocks.

Tobi, quickly raced forward bending forward and everything he’d eaten prior to the trip came pouring through his tonsils. Tobi, with a heavy stomach began to vomit within a bolded bush, “ Ack. Fucking portals.”

He cried as he’d been knelt over his right hand planted firmly at the base of the tree. At its conclusion, Tobi softly turned his gaze towards the abandoned city which was breached by the heavy lengths of veins intertwining with abandoned buildings , cars and streetlights. “Ugh, the sight of this place freaks me out. Try not to wander off stay close. “ Tobi, commanded once more before advancing forward into the abandoned city.

Alice:

She shook her head at him. “You couldn’t stop me from enjoying myself, ever.” She snickered, but she was right. Even with all the negative horrible things happening to her she still always got her way, even though she would be in terrible condition she’d always end up with the last laugh and if not she’d always have revenge on her side. She ran her fingers through her white ashen hair, the soft silky straight hair fell in front of her face as she pulled her hand away. Even though she had a sinister smile, she couldn’t quite beat his sinister attitude.

He had cuts and scars all over him and she was curious as to what happened, he wore them like a trophy on his body and she just couldn’t understand how that was something to be proud of until she tilted her head analyzing him, but now she understood. It probably reminded him of all the times he actually lived… lived through all that shit thrown at him. Snapping out of it she looked at him as he commented on her food. She knew he’d loved it, but of course he had to comment. She just shrugged. “I didn’t want the salt mixing in with the poison I added.” She teased obviously joking around. When he heard her say the word he’d been waiting for her to hear she laughed.

It definitely caught him off guard. “Mhm… you sound shocked. Didn’t you want that to be your name?” She teased with a sly grin as she followed behind him. Finally the portal had appeared, the colors swirling together like the northern lights. It looked pretty but eerie, like a black hole but…. Rainbow. The force was strong, causing her hair to get a bit messy, she held down her shirt from flying up. “Egh...” She commented. “Yeah…” She nodded to him as she followed right behind him. It was Old New York. It looked weird standing there, she felt a bit dizzy but she shook it off as she rubbed her head.

She glanced at Tobi as he ran off. “Hm… the poison worked.” She laughed again joking around, as she walked behind him patting his back. “Just get it all out champ.” She teased as she patted him now pulling away the looked out to the abandoned buildings. It looked creepy as hell but as abandoned as it looked it most likely wasn’t. “Yeah yeah, don’t worry. You won’t lose me… and I sure as hell can’t lose a brick wall like you.” She said with her soft sultry voice. “Where are we going first?” She asked hoping he knew what he was doing right now.

Tobi:

Swiftly and softly damping the rims and corners of his flared red lips which dimmed of its eccentric hue as it been smudged with a bit of muck filled saliva; a tainted green - danced amongst a hint of eerie red as bits of ribs jolted pass his tongue and down his chin. Tobi, with a dilated gaze softly began wheeling his cool ocular hues towards Alicia who commented voicing her “concern.” He softly smiled, but it surely wasn’t a smile a mother would love. It emitted an internal temptation - fueled by the thrive of greed and the utter most sinister. He softly chuckled, before catching a quick breath.

“ Well, Alice - I don’t suppose, you mixed your recipes for ribs with the recipes made to make you ? Poison , bland and everything BLAH ! “ He teased. Before ,advancing into the somewhat suspicious land foreign to Alice and himself. “ Well, we should be close.” Tobi, told her his smirk softly diminishing - a expression of concern bargained itself across his face. His brows folded forward; “ Stay..- close.”

he softly stuttered, his tongue staggered as he planted a foot forward. A heavy fog, basked with a dingy black forged into its core with an onyx pitch that emitted malevolent whispers that further heightened the theory of this cities enchantment. However, in the midst of it all - a particular glow; a bittersweet coral orange hue which beamed forward like a sniper, or more so techno had been a bliss within its core. Slowly but surely, the fog began to fade and in its past remained a plant. It was alone, the last of it’s kind a white sheep in the midst of the dead and forgotten; the abandoned and disposable.

“ That has to be it.” Tobi remarked upon it meeting his sights, with his hands held firmly within the night of his pockets. Tobi, would have softly traced his feet towards the plant. His gaze broadened, as he dropped his hips and held himself above the plant hovering over it a bit. “ HAHA Alice I told you it’ll be a piece of cake. “ Tobi, shouted in excitement hovering over the plant firmly placing his grasp at the dept of it's earth green roots. However, behind Tobi and completely in Alice view came the black fog again. But, this time it was different - lick blocks they began to align to where a man was forged from it.

He looked about seven feet tall, that was all one who laid eyes upon would be able to make out of it as the rest of himself remained covered in a black cloak and hoody. The shadows marked his face, as his gaze danced forward however hidden beneath a thick black. All, that could be seen within the depths of the hood were stitches fenced together to where they made a shall just slightly beneath where the nose should have been. The stitches stretched from cheek to cheek, “ Piece of Cake.”

Tobi, softly cheesed as he continued to rip the plant from the ground completely unaware of the evil that stood above him. “ You see Alice ? - All this time wasted and you could have been making me another meal !” Tobi, laughed as he successfully pulled the plant from the ground. “Alright, let's get out of here.” A scythe began to form in the grasp of the hooded beast; it would've chuckled before firmly placing both hands on the midst of the scythe and wheeling his arms back in a batter formation.

Suddenly, with accurate timing and precise precision the hooded figure followed up wheeling his arms back and quickly exerted his arms forward in a downward vertical fashion; sending a furious blow that equated to a slash across Tobi’s back. His movements stop, quickly grasped by the ultimate surprise as his eyes leaned forward. His shards of ice ocular hues broken, as his body limped forward - and within seconds a river of a crimson juice detonated from his back.

The hooded figures, scythe riddled in Tobi’s blood. “Di - Didn- Didn’t see that coming - heh..” were Tobi’s, last words before falling amongst the hilts of his knees. He began to choke on his own blood, his cheeks grew bloated - as vital fluid fell from his lips, he’d been unable to whisper a word. The Hooded, figure brought his arms back for a second blow the scythe in his grasp - Tobi’s cool blues met Alice gaze, all he’d been able to mouth was “RUN” and within seconds after he mouthed that.

The Hooded, figure came in with a vertical slash at Tobi’s neck- crisply decapitating him, ridding his body of it’s head - which rocketed forward as his now headless body erupted like a volcano from it’s neck as a stream of a somewhat fluorescent claret red ruptured from it, his body fell forward fading into a pale blue adding to the sinister red pool of blood below him as he added to it’s color. His head, rolled to Alice feet - his expression remained the same as it been before being decapitated.

The hooded figure chuckled; the whispers emitting from the fog forged to his sinister music as it began to thicken and suddenly coiled around her leg like a somewhat tentacle. The Hooded Figure chuckled once more before racing forward; wheeling his arms back his scythe in his grasp attempting to vertical slash at her chest.

Alice:

Alice stood beside him as she pulled her hand away from him, folding her arms. Her mocking red eyes stared blankly in front of her still analyzing her surroundings. She felt eyes on her, Tobi was definitely not happy about her joke. “Well no dear, I was made with Sugar, Spice and the tears of orphans.” She snapped back without looking at him, with a nervous tone in her voice because of their surroundings. It made her feel very uncomfortable but still she was able to come up with a comeback of course. She followed beside him looking around them. Every step she took her curvy waist swayed to each side, she didn’t walk fast she kept at a slow pace readying for anything that would come at them. She glanced up at him, he looked just as concerned as she did which didn’t help much.

The fog was very thick, physically having to push through it to even see what was in front of them. Finally as the fog dissipated she could actually breathe, of course the air wasn’t fresh but it was definitely better than the groggy mist she fought to walk through. She stared at a plant, it looked so innocent and peaceful buried in the soft soil beneath it. Everything dead and destroyed around it, the last living thing in its place. “This is what we’re looking for? A fucking plan---“She realized staring at it. It was just a plant. It was the last of its kind. “Holy…” She finally caught on. “B-Be careful.” She mentioned as he got closer she followed behind him. “It can’t be this easy… is it?” She noticed a black fog surrounding them now. “I knew it couldn’t be this easy.” Her eyes went from anxiety to an alert dark stare before her. Dark shadow in the thick black fog, she stared intently at it, she couldn’t look away, although she had a straight face fear filled her head.

“Piece of cake” He said proudly “Tobi…” She spoke. “You see Alice ? - All this time wasted and you could have been making me another meal!” She grabbed his muscular arm. “Alright, let's get out of here.” He said ignoring her completely. . “M-Master. Fucking listen to m—“She stood there frozen as the figure finally dropped its scythe on his back. She flinched as the red milky liquid fell down his back. She covered her mouth, such a deep sharp cut. He fell over blood pouring from his body. She took a few steps backwards. Her eyes met his as she stared at him, she pulled her hands off her face. Her terrified look now turned to a blank heartless stare. She noticed him mouth the words “RUN”. The thing decapitated him, his head rolling over to her feet. She glanced down at his head and up at the mysterious figure. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbYHzoBL8ec) Alice let out a slight chuckle as she wiped some of the blood off her shoes that dripped off his head. “Wow, didn’t see that coming.” She looked down at the blood on her finger and up at the figure. “As much as I would like to stay I think I’ll be going now.” She winked at the figure as she stepped backwards away from it. The sinister background sound gave her chills. She felt something tight around her ankle but before it wrapped fully around her ankle. She noticed the scythe fall down at her but instead her reaction was to pull her leg up in her place to perfectly angle it for the scythe to cut the tentacle thing right from her ankle. She giggled softly. “Thank you doll!” She blew a kiss picking up the flower he was holding and jetted off immediately. Running through the thick fog. ‘Did he just die right in front of my eyes?’ She sighed to herself. ‘Do.. I go back?’ She asked herself trying to get away as quickly as possible. She glanced down at the plant with a weird expression.

Tobi:

The Scythe of the mysterious figure swiftly broke her free of it’s sinister grasp; it’s slim and rather thin clammy extensions withered within the silver lining of the scythe’s impact. Quickly, she jetted off - her feet buried deep within the embodiment of death which began to solidify at the heavy stench of a lifeless demeanor. “ Alice !” was the voice that penetrated through the fog; it’s onyx hue soon began to bleed of a more purified substance awakening at the embrace of a more desired presence.

“ Alice snap out of it.” The voice spoke again. As Alice ran, she’d find herself in the midst of confronting a heavy void of black before her. The Path she ran, ended at this deranged shade of a sinister black - where nothing forged or traced behind it almost as if she’d been ingrained into an unfinished painting.

“Alice !” He’d say again; and at that jist of the moment - a hand began peeling from that void of black reaching out for the firmness of her pelican soft skin; If allowed - the moment it touched she’d awaken to Tobi’s face whom held her at his grasp as he stood over her. “ Earth to Alice; are you ok ?” His cool ice shard blue hues melted at the fire raging through her’s as it been at a hushed and weakened state.

“ Oh come on ! Don’t die on me - sheesh; I thought you were stronger than that.” He softly teased as he still caressed her in his arms. A syringe fancied the depths of her forearm fastened within the watery depths of her canary hue which brimmed at the embrace of the sun adding more of a goddess sight to her already praise worthy appearance.

“ I know this is the face, you’ll love to wake up too every morning but don’t get too excited. “ He teased before leaving her with a wink; quickly struggling to pull the syringe from her forearm. “I must say. I thought I lost you; you were shot by the toxins of a nightmare beetle. It probably bit you - when we separated, Don’t know if you learned this back at the school of Phoenix but this things deadly. It’s able to produce fear - depending on the level of fear and the person it may cause enough shock to kill you.

However, I suppose the shock wasn’t that fierce since you barely fell into a cardiac arrest. But, I had to stab you just to be sure - and ooh darling, I’d do it again, trust me. “ Tobi, cheesed before sitting her up against a wall - while slowly splitting his legs from beneath her, he softly planted a firm grasp upon her shoulder - allowing his gaze to forge in attention chin high and more weary of his surroundings now.

“ We should stick more closely together. I have a feeling we’re not alone - you see I made an assumption you were attacked by a Nightmare beetle. However, I see no nest or swarm in sight. Meaning, - not too long ago after the war, natives began killing and using these beetles toxins as a weapon. Some sort of assassination technique - Someone, may have tried to kill you - but why, how - no ones ever lived here. Atleast, not that I know of.” Tobi, questioned his voice drained of all its authority. “Wow, nothing gets past you Warlocks don’t it.” A voice spilled from the remoteness of the city, Tobi’s cool hues dilated as he spun to see not a man in sight. “ Who’re you ? “ he quickly questioned still unable to make out the voice. “ A question, which should remain a question to those who wish to introduce themselves.

“ The voice said again - it had been the voice of a man with a heavy somewhat english accent. “ I’m not in the mood for games. “ Tobi, a bit frustrated remarked unveiling his blade from the grasp of his belt. “ No Games ?! Oh boy, the feelings mutual - however. I do wish you stop showing off for the girl. “ He said again - and following that voice had been a cat who landed swiftly upon as feet falling free falling from a 12 feet high tree. The Cat, looked no different from any other cat - its fur black as coal; remarkable distinguishing eyes one a cherry red the other a egyptian gold.

“A Cat ? “ Tobi’s brows lifted a bit, “ Unfortunately, Yes I’m a cat. However, do not let my appearance foo-” Before the cat could finish Tobi, bursted into a sudden and with haste laughter. “ Anytime, you’re ready to get serious.” He’d say with albeit more authority. “ Oh, and by the way - names Hanz. “ He added - Tobi, cheesed - his cheeks flared a bright red. “ Why, not Mr.Puffins “ Tobi, cheesed once more to where Hanz quickly slammed a paw down and the sky which grimaced due to a hell black began to split at the presence of a storm.

“As, I was saying - I know what you’re here for. But, I suppose I can help. I can point you the way to your destination. “ Hanz requested to where Tobi quickly shot back.”What's in it for you ? “ Hanz gave off a sly smirk “ Are humans so pathetic - that they believe every kind deed is motivated at the extent of that deed being repaid ? Tch, Makes me sick. He said, before ducking his head with a sway to the side.

“No, it’s just - I'm not a big fan of Cats."

Alice:

She could feel her heart racing, her hands clammy and shaky, her eyes determined on getting the hell out of there safely but something felt wrong. This didn’t seem like it was real at all but it did at the same time. She stumbled a bit out of breath when she heard a voice call her name, she slowed down to turn around. “Alice snap out of it.” She heard it again she began to stop running, her legs heavy and achy from the speed she ran. The fog got even more eerie and it gave her chills once again down her spine. As she slowed down to a stop when it spoke again. “Alice!” A hand reached out from above her. Her eyes sprung wide open. A soft gasp heard from her voice, she was confused as she laid in Tobi’s arms. She rubbed her head. “O-Ouch…” She grumbled softly in immense pain as she moved her arm. A syringe was in her arm, a soft red hue around the stab in her forearm on her soft fair skin. “S-Shut up…” She whimpered as he tugged at the syringe jabbed nicely in her arm. “I had no idea they were actually real.” She flinched at the pain in her arm looking away from him.

She felt as if she just woke up from a dream, still groggy and tired from running, strangely her legs still achy and sore. She turned to glare at him after his comment. “If only I didn’t wake up from that lovely dream.” She snickered to herself knowing he had no clue what she meant. She leaned up against a wall now with his firm grasp on her shoulder she sighed softly knowing she couldn’t move from the position. “I was going to ask that… don’t they usually stay in groups?” She asked softly as she looked up at him. She raised a brow at the random voice but couldn’t connect the voice to a face. She looked around as well. The voice of the man had an accent, she was still trying to get feeling back in her body but still alert. “Tch—if you were the one who tried to kill me…” She grumbled under her breath her glossy red eyes dancing around. She snickered at the comment of the voice and looked at Tobi. “Yeah stop showing off for me.” She teased with a big cheesy grin. As she turned her head a cat jumped from a tree. “A cat?” Tobi looked confused. “Unfortunately, Yes I’m a cat. However, do not let my appearance foo-”

“....” She stared blankly before her eyes got big. “AW! A LITTLE KITTEN.” She yelped happily trying not to run to hug it and squish it. Tobi began to laugh while Alice has big lovey eyes for the cute little furry animal. Alice slapped his arm. “His name is Hanz!” She growled looking back at the kitty with heart eyes. Alice peeled away from Tobi and picked up the cat and hugged him into her plump chest. “Oh you’re so cute! Can I take him home!?” She giggled swaying back and forth with the cat ignoring the whole conversation. She then pulled him off her and put him down. “S-Sorry… I am a big fan on the other hand.” She stared blankly a bit embarrassed for her actions. She placed her hands behind her inching away from the cat now back to Tobi’s side.

Tobi:

“Unhand me women ! “ The feline - four legged onyx- raven black fur creature heaved and panted at the grasp of her - well toned, silk creamy chest that bloated at the hints of his fur. His, neck buried beneath its weight - as the rays emitting from the star of a entity. Blaring, a gentle red with a hint of a orange tangerine hue. But, oddly enough - he’d soon take comfort to his position in her arms, a slight pur rolled of his tongue as he allowed his chin to melt against her chest. “

Hm, these - these, I’ve never taken such comfort in them before. Yes - yes, far more plumped and advance then the ones of Raven -purrr, very- very nice.” Hanz said with comfort as his flaring pearly gaze - slowly lost view as it slowly began to fall under his eyelids. Tobi, softly rubbed the base of his arm - soon after Alice hit him, he shot a glare at her and Hanz from the corner of his eye.

“Tch, Anyways - “ Tobi, would have slightly reached for the cat just seconds before Alice place it back down, quickly piercing his fingers into it’s neck as it’s eyes remained still still believing he was in her grasp. He, quickly jumped - as it was soon acknowledged that he wasn’t. “ Gah ! Damn it - how dare yo- “ Hanz cried before quickly being interrupted by Tobi, “ Cut the crap, tell me what the hell is it you want before I have cat soup. “ Tobi, remarked threatening the cat burying his piercing reds into his, “ Bloody hell - thats sounds atrocious, you people don’t actually eat that do they ?”

His eye’s cringed, the moment Tobi leaned in his nose touching Hanz, “ Wanna find out ? “ Tobi, teased as he flared his sharpened teeth in attempt of forging fear within the core of the enchanted felines heart. “ Earth Women ! - back to our lovely melons at once !” Hanz quickly shouted shortly after a brief gasp to where Tobi, smashed him to the base of the tree. “ You’re testing my patience.”

Tobi, told him a bit ferocity in his tone this time. “ Fine, fine its - just, you and your lady friend here is in trouble. “ Hanz briefly stated before sudden murmurs fled from the peaks of the bushes. “ Oh no, I’m afraid we’re too late. “ Hanz quickly cried before lunging from Tobi’s grasp and quickly fleeing into the shadow’s “ Hey, come back here - ! “ Tobi, quickly commanded as he yearned to chase it - but before he can take step - a feather coated arrow landed at the head of his feets - his gaze perked up and he was quickly punted at the base of his back. “ The hell ?! “ Tobi, scoffed as he quickly shot his gaze upwards. Men and women, it was quite difficult to tell the difference between the two as they were all coated in sheets and markings - they all had arrow’s aimed high at the two ready to kill them at any sudden movement. Soon, more made their appearance out of the shadows circling the two easing in closer. “ Alice, stay close. “ Tobi, briefly commanded as he slowly pulled his feet backwards reaching out for her. A slightly larger man with a staff approached her, shoulders that matched canons and a chin as potent as a rock. Black locks cascaded on his face, as war paint riddled his cheeks. “ Women - with me. “ He quickly commanded,

“ Alice - don’t listen to hi -oof” Tobi, stated before falling victim to a furious blow by one of the natives. The leader quickly, made his way to Tobi - catching a firm grasp of his hair and holding him up , a blade with an elder appearance planted firmly against his neck. “ Refuse - and he dies, and I promise you. It won’t be a dream this time. “ He cheesed - followed by a slight wink almost as if he knew what Alice dreamt about. Tobi, gave off a slight chuckle before forging a gaze at the man who held him up.

“ We’re not scared of you - chump ! Jokes on you, Alice doesn’t care If I die, we’re Warlocks she knows the consequences. She’ll never go with you punks  - how bout you make your men put their arrows down and we can dance like REAL men. “ Tobi exclaimed almost as if he wasn’t aware of the position he was in. The man quickly launched a blow into Tobi’s gut - where he slowly lunged forward at the antagonizing pain. “ I’d hurry if I was you - he was doing well at talking himself into making your decision already.” The man quickly said as he forged his gaze on Alice once more, setting his foot on Tobi’s head this time. One of his men gave him a spear in exchange of the blade in his grasp. The man quickly planted the sharp end of his spear at the nip of Tobi’s neck - he quickly shot a glare at Alice in the process, “ Well ? “ More indians would have eased in their arrows aimed at the two.

Alice

Alice giggled softly and stared up at Tobi now. She paused. “Raven?” She asked pouting her lips. “Does this kitty have an owner!?” She grumbled. “Noooo… ” As she folded her arms. Alice gasped softly and pawed at Tobi’s shoulder. “Don’t be so meeeeaaan!” She huffed with sad pouty lips. She glared at Tobi and hushed him. “Geez, be polite. He didn’t do anything to us!” Alice held out her hands in a grabby motion to take the cat back but he got thrown into the tree and she let out a small yelp. “Tobi!!!!” She continued to punch at his arm repeatedly like a child. “Stop stop stop! You big bully!” She whined softly. Alice paused a bit, she had a very, very bad feeling. “Look what you did he got away…” She said looking around now with sharp eyes. “Hmmm..---“ She jumped back as she looked at an arrow dart at Tobi’s feet. Her eyelashes batted in confusion. “Jeeez, what now?” she grumbled turning around.

Looking up she made eye contact with people, they looked like Native Americans looking as angry as if that they had stolen their whole crop farm. Alice tilted her head at them. “Interesting..” She commented and continued to step back but as she turned around to grab Tobi’s arm to run she looked up at more of them. “We’re surrounded…” Now standing back to back with Tobi. Her blood red eyes widened. She blinked as a man approached her, she swallowed a bit. “Did.. did he just call me ‘woman’?” She snapped about to throw some feminism at him. “I have a name---“ But as she was about to comment Tobi knocked over and she covered her mouth. “Oof..” Soon now lifted up by his head with a blade against his neck. Alice looked at Tobi with worried eyes. “A-Ah… Tobi..” She bit her lower lip as he was punched in the gut she flinched. “P-Please stop.” She pleaded reaching a hand out as if she could peel him off of Tobi.

Alice swallowed hard staring at Tobi now at the man before her. “Fuck..” She whispered and took a breath. “Fine, I’ll come with you. Just please don’t kill him…” She gave in looking at Tobi in pain, she couldn’t stand to see him die twice in one day just as much as she wanted to beat him up she’d never wish death upon him. Alice refused now to make eye contact with Tobi so he wouldn’t try to change her mind. From: ʚ Becku ɞ

“ Alice..” His voice came off soft and Timid; as the base of his naked olive cheeks melted into the soft prints of the lifeless sand that emitted a soft and heavy gray that recollected itself at the temple of his nose. He felt  the grip of the commander loosen, Tobi lowered his head in defeat as his the rest of his hips sunk into the depths of the debris as the commander slightly nodded approving Alice decision. “ Well, look at that you’re more than good looks. “ The commander teased as he softly pushed through his men, he’d then latch his firm and massive grasp at the base of her wrist - yanking her forward and dragging his gaze at the scapes of her florid  red hues. “ Don’t try anything funny..” He  quickly command as he yanked her by her sides, refusing to allow her to keep up with his pace.

Tobi:

Tobi's gaze fell upon the dead of the sand, his breathing heavy - but slow. It staggered a bit. Falling to repetition - instead of a determined constant. Tobi, allowed his hands to flail at his sides. “ Let her go.” Tobi, scoffed - one of the commanders men quickly turned to a furious Tobi whom slowly began to pick up his weight, “ Take your hands off her or I’ll kill you. “ He’d threaten once more now at the base of his knee - his hair falling over his face as his eyes remained kempt at the frame of night.

“ I will kill this one - I grow tired of his mouth.” one of the men said as he angled his spear and marched forward aiming to ram it at the base of Tobi’s back - but, slowly and surely; Tobi - quickly lunged his body to the side leaping forward he dragged his teeth against the man's arm nearly ripping his arm from his socket and following up with a heavy blow to the man's sternum just below his collar bone, a bone sickening crush could be heard before Tobi’s knuckles. Along with a sudden oof - the man quickly gathered his feet before falling flat on his back, his spear at Tobi’s grasp.

A slight cheese forged his lips as he took hold of the man's spear before quickly impaling his chest. A second man; quickly blind sided Tobi - reeling his arm forward the quickly retracting back while kneeing his elbow joint snapping Tobi’s arm in two. “Agh.” He’d cry as the spear fell from his grasp - but Tobi quickly caught it with his other arm and forcibly lunged it into the man who kept grasp of his arm forehead.

Blood erupted from his skull like a volcano, before Tobi quickly pulled his foot back and punted it into the natives chest. He, then spun at the incoming natives and swiftly spun his spear at their necks all at once before throwing a spear to Alice. The Commander would have quickly loosen his grip reaching for his spear allowing the other natives to crowd her as he sped away attempting to ready himself for Tobi, If she’d catch it - Tobi, would have caught another spear and quickly center his gaze at the commander. “ I told you I’d kill you if you laid a hand on her - time to live up to that promise. “

Tobi, calmly stated before charging forward only to have been intercepted by the sounds of arrows being let loose all at once from above. Tobi, ignored the flock of arrows that all surrounded him at once closing in on him. Tobi, continued to race - his sweats drilled the barriers of his grows as his teeth seen bursting at the skin of his cheeks. “ GAHHH” He’d cry as his hands began to bleed due to the hardening of his grasp - time began to slow down as the arrows eased in closer nearly at it’s destination - ready to leave holes piercing through his skin. But, suddenly a keen light pierced the safari of a city and soon all the arrows froze in mid air the tip of one slowly grazing the tip of Tobi’s neck.

His eyes perked up, at sight of all the natives quickly bowing even the commander. Tobi, brows lifted in concern as all the arrows simply fell - in seconds a man in a suit would have appeared before him with his back turned to him his hands at his back. A black and white tux - seated firmly on his form. He looked about 6 feet and fit, but his hair revealed he’d been far past his youth as it fared a ashen heavy grey. Also, though he had wrinkles - it was clearly irrelevant cause in a way he was oddly handsome.

His hair fell back into a ponytail, his eyes - a fluorescent piercing blue; kind of roses frozen through it’s thorns at the depths of an arctic sea. His aura was quite mysterious and sinister, he’d turn to Alice then to Tobi whom broken arm simply flailed side to side. “ Now, what exactly is going on here ? “

He’d say as he began to slowly pace his steps before the commander as he remained bowed. “ Grim Reaper sir, the mistress - she ordered a female companion sir, a friend.” He’d hesitate - the difference in his voice before the appearance was surely evident here only making this man far more powerful then he looked. “ You mean my lovely Raven, I assume. You act as if you’re unaware of how foreign she is too this world - you don’t kidnap friends, especially not Warlocks. Let them go. “ He’d command.

The Commander quickly lunged his gaze at the grim reaper once more “ But sir ! he killed - some of our brothers. “ He’d say with the highest contempt. Grim softly sighed - before piercing his cool blues into his

“ No, you killed them.” Grim, pulled his gaze from him and gave the girl a quick look before toothing a sinister smirk. “ However, since you’re so hellbent in joining your brothers I think you should join them.” Grim teased, “ No - please don’t kill me. “ The Commander pleaded - to which Grim clicked his teeth - “ Oh, no no no - I’m not going to kill you, that's not up to me.” He’d tease before slipping into the pockets of his tuxedo and gave Alice a dagger in place of her spear - it was dark and cold with skulls forged at its head. “ Its up to her - on whether you should die or live. “ He’d smile as he left his hand out waiting for Alice to take the blade - his grin sinister a dark aura fleeing his suit. Tobi, watched from a distance his breathing to heavy to speak.

Alice:

Alice stood there looking down at the ground now, heavy weights of defeat hanging down on her shoulder. She could take a breath as she noticed the commander release his grip on Tobi. As soon as he commented Alice almost cringed. She scoffed softly, feeling a tight grip on her wrist. She yelped softly at the tight hold on her delicate wrist. “Tch---“Her eyes flickered looking up at him now, burning red with anger. She stumbled behind him trying to catch up and keeping herself from falling over. Alice turned to look behind her at Tobi, her eyes worried as he spoke angrily threatening them to let her go, it did warm her heart but she couldn’t keep looking at him. Her eyes grew wide as soon as she heard one of the men speak. She quickly turned her head but before she knew it Tobi was in go mode. A smile curled up on her face. “Finally...” She mumbled now relieved.

A spear aiming towards her, she’d catch it with her free hand and turn to the commander as he released her of his grasp. A huge wicked grin on her soft pink lips as he ran off with the natives crowding her. “What a pathetic boy who calls himself a man, can’t even fight a woman!” She teased holding the spear firmly as she leaned down and quickly put the spear to the ground and spun in a circle place the spear from under all their feet tripping them all like a domino effect, she jump of one of their bodies and chase after Tobi as well as she caught up now standing a few feet behind Tobi she froze as well, confused at the sight. “W-What the…” She whispered, suddenly the natives quickly bowed, even the commander. She blinked curiously at a tall man, standing there in a black tux. As he turned to view the man looked strangely attractive. Alice blushed softly staring in shock as if he looked familiar to her. He spoke, a voice so powerful.

“A female… friend?” Her head tilted. He sounded stern now, but with such a calm tone of voice. She glanced back at the man as he offered a cold blade to her. She glanced down at it with a serious face, a small smirk appeared on her face. “Karma my darling.” She said as she pulled the dagger up and down his back, blood pouring from out of the man’s back and out his mouth. “It’s a bitch.” She hissed softly into the man’s ear as he fell over, twitching. She pulled the dagger from his back slowly and wiped it on the man’s clothes holding the knife out handing it back to the grim reaper. “I’ve seen you in my dreams before. Should I be worried?... Or honored?” She asked him with a slight bow and a sweet smile. "Oh and thank you for the knife. It's very lovely." She said softly glancing up at him.
